Some pictures from 06.05.2009 from the same area when I left Rīga.
I love Soviet-era commieblock areas and buildings both in former USSR and in Eastern Europe. Highway ("Magistraal" in Estonian) takes me through such areas and some nice blocks are located right next to them. I am happy that I can enjoy these buildings and areas in my hometown Tallinn every day. (In case you wanted to see shopping mall Magistral in Mustamäe, please go to https://magistral.ee.)

022 Krasta rajons 03.05.2009
After brief touch of Pļavnieki I walked closer to the big junction of 6 streets. There were construction works going on, they built new second level streets in that area. It is bordered by Dārciems, Krasta rajons and "Galerija Azur". So these are the views from Lubānas and then Slāvu streets (the latter is mainly the bridge), and there is another junction close to river in the end.
