729 Rummu 29.08.2020

Few photos of Rummu without going to walk between the houses, at least this time. I thought I had done this already but later realised that it was not so.

This is the former prison area.

Nice lake with an interesting history: former mine where the prisoners worked and somehow they managed to blow up a wrong place so this old mine was filled with water, sometimes in 1990's. When you go to the far end and then turn right you will reach a small resort centre (https://www.paekalda.ee) who also offer raft trips over the lake to this beach and hill and then go back. I've done this.

Some visitors also went up to these towers.
