I love Soviet-era commieblock areas and buildings both in former USSR and in Eastern Europe. Highway ("Magistraal" in Estonian) takes me through such areas and some nice blocks are located right next to them. I am happy that I can enjoy these buildings and areas in my hometown Tallinn every day. (In case you wanted to see shopping mall Magistral in Mustamäe, please go to https://magistral.ee.)

390 Munich in 19.10.2014, part 3 of 4
Art Nouveau kind of details again, very beautiful.
After this we went to Olympic area, where there was also BMW museum and exhibitions.
Even the TV tower was nearby.
The TV tower shadows BMW building.
In the last part of this series we went to see that area more closely because it was my definite interest. Here are just few photos from a distance.
The Olympic area. Most or even all of it is in use. There was also swimming pool.
Very very nostalgic. And very modern for soviet era. If something like that would've been in Tallinn back then, then that would've been top of the top. These look like from 1970's or 1980's. I didn't pay more attention what they were exactly, probably kiosks or ticket service cabins.
Now I could get a clear picture of this brutalist kind of building.
Something was written in Hebrew.
This place looked extraordinary beautiful and cozy, and so nostalgic.
