138 Väike-Õismäe in March 2012

It was a nice sunny day in the most beautiful time of the year and I did a small photo trip in Väike-Õismäe.

That particular time of the year, the end of March, seems to be the best for seeing a most complex and rare halos in the sky in Tallinn, there were at least six of them. They appeared in that very day, 31.03.12 and also a year before, very close to the same date. They are not visible here (they were disappeared), it's only an offtopic note for skylovers.

The former railway was turned into a walking path! Very good idea!

These beauties belong to Mustamäe. Nice view from Paldiski road.

It was a red brick building before renovation.

One of the most beautiful soviet-time houses in Väike-Õismäe.

The ad says that renovation is cheaper than heating the weather, and the picture shows the same house and the same wall where the ad is, only taken with a thermal camera or something that shows the heat leaking points of that particular wall. Very clever and impressive ad. There were more such in other places as well.

Beautiful blocks in Nurmenuku area, golden balconies in both sides, before and after renovation.

Municipality building of Haabersti part of city (the red one).

Sporting, swimming, reading books and more in this house, about 4-5 years old. I remember when it was built.
